On this page you will find the newest Informations about our ICC-Project-Multimedia-Event at the 10th of December

Hi all!

After some time of hard work to prepare the announced Event at the 10th of December 1998. I am so glad to speak out today the Invitation to this Event for

all members of the ICC-Project and a netherland group of students of the TIME- Project (http://www.antenna.nl/aspnet, E-mail:Timeproj@antenna.nl), that have asked us, if they can take part. They are very welcome :-).

Timetable

First of all we need a common point of time, so we all are online at the same time.

My propusual is Beginning Time

Do 10.12.98 Oldenburg,Germany 8 h

Do 10.12.98 AT HEERLEN, Netherlands 8 h

Do 10.12.98 Tokio,Japan 16 h

Do 10.12.98 Canberra,Australia 17 h

Do 10.12.98 Trestena,Slovakia 9 h

The event should have open end, but it should last about five hours. Then we

should decide to go on or to stop.

Planning

The following points are planned by us at that day:

All ways of communication should be possible parallel at the same time.

How can you take part?

First Way of taking part

Midi-Live streaming and chat via Res Rocket

If you want to compose Live with us via Midi an Res Rocket Software, you have to download the software from the Res Rocket page:

http://www.resrocket.com/

Please do it a few days before the 10th of December, because you will get a password via e-mail and you need a little time to get common with the Sequencing

software. In this software a sequencing and chat progamm is integrated.

Second Way of taking part

Video-conference via CuSeeMe

We will install in Tokyo and in Oldenburg Live Cameras and I hope Microphones, so we will be able to see and hear us.

Mike, Lolo, Bertram or other? Will you also be ablle to install Cameras and Mikrophones?

If not, you can see and hear us, if you want. You only have to install CuSeeMe on your computer and you can follow passive our Video-Conference like a TV-Show.

Third Way of taking part

Common Chat forum for all, who are not able to install the Res Rocket Software

This is the easiest way of all. If you have a browser like netscape or internet-explorer you can chat with us. The Chat-page address will be published

via link on out ICC-Project-Page:

http://www.ol.ni.schule.de/~caeci/icc-proj/icc98-99.htm

Have a look on it and you can chat with us.

Fourth Way of taking part

If you want to hear our midi-music without installing Res Rocket software, visit our ICC-Page:

http://www.ol.ni.schule.de/~caeci/icc-proj/icc98-99.htm

There will be a link to our

30th December-Midi-Composing-Page: Every 30 minutes actualized Midifiles on this page for those partners, who will download the files normally via WWW that we created together with other partners in Res Rocket.

I hope you are looking forward to this event as exciteted than we are.

Please tell us soon, if you want to take part and which way of the fourth ways you will choose to take part.

I hope it will become a successful event.

If you have questions, please e-mail me or Wolfgang

Kindly Regards
